    Dear brother and sister,

Do you have LOI before you get to Tehran?

I’ll go to Iran in July.

    Thanks

Are you holding a HKSAR passport? If you are then you won’t need any LOI, you can get a 15-day on-arrival visa at the international airport in Tehran.

I don’t remember if they asked me anything like that. But if they do ask you to fill in the address on the form, you simply open your Lonely Planet, pick any hotel mentioned and copy the address there – Don’t worry, they won’t bother asking you about that!
