On the last day before I left Australia, my host decided to take me to a restaurant. I was quite surprised when he said we (together with other students staying in the house) were going out for dinner that night, because he did not tell me in advance. What was more surprising was that only when we reached the restaurant did I find out that we were actually going to a Hong-Kong-styled restaurant! How interesting, a Hong Kong meal on the day before I came back to Hong Kong! But I was still grateful, for all his generous help and sincere advices. Time flies, 7 weeks passed by so quickly. I gave my host a small gift which I brought for him from Hong Kong, a pair of chopsticks made of porcelain, with four Chinese characters meaning “longevity” written on them. He was very delighted. I wish him all the best.
